Chad Houwman is responsible for a select group of key national
accounts for Prestige. These top accounts for the company
include nationwide accounts from the incentive, insurance,
corporate and medical markets located in North America.
Chad's 18 year industry career in both national sales for
luxury resorts and selling for an industry leading incentive
company has provided him the ideal tools and resources to
effectively serve our meeting planner clientele.
Chad began his career
with a group travel company in Phoenix in 1986. He then moved
on to spend almost six years with Pointe Resorts in key National
Sales positions. In 1992, and for the next eight years, Chad
was part of the sales management team at Williams Hospitality
Group in Puerto Rico. He helped direct and market the pre-opening
sales efforts for the 900 room, $300 million dollar El Conquistador
Resort and Country Club.
In 1994, Chad took
over as Director of Incentive Sales for the three Williams
Hospitality properties which included The El Conquistador,
El San Juan and Condado Plaza. Wyndham acquired these respective
resorts in 1998 and Chad served as
Director of Incentive Sales for all Wyndham Resorts in the
Caribbean.
In April 2000, Chad
moved into the incentive industry as a sales executive for
a major incentive company located in Minnesota.
Prestige has considered Chad as one of the family throughout
his career starting with one of Prestige's first major bookings
at the Pointe South Mountain (which is still a member of Prestige).
Prestige also worked very close with Chad during his tenure
with Williams Hospitality and Wyndham Resorts. Chad brings
the "total package" of thorough industry background,
integrity and a true customer service attitude to our headquarters
team.
