Carolyn Sterbenz joined Prestige in December of 2009 as a regional director of sales for the Kansas City Metro area. She is based in Kansas City and will be covering the Kansas and Missouri markets, with her emphasis on Kansas City Metro.

Carolyn brings over 25 years experience in the hospitality industry to Prestige. For the past 10 years Carolyn has been with Hilton Hotels as a sales manager for the Doubletree Hotel, Overland Park-Corporate Woods. Prior to the Doubletree, Carolyn held the role of corporate sales manager for four years at the Overland Park Convention & Visitors Bureau. Other key sales positions include stints at The Westin Crown Center, Kansas City and Kansas City Marriott Downtown. Carolyn began her hotel career at the former Alameda Plaza Hotel (now the InterContinental Kansas City at the Plaza) on the Country Club Plaza in Kansas City.

Carolyn is a long-time member of Meeting Professionals International (MPI) and has been involved with the Kansas City (KC) Chapter for the last 10 years. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in English from Texas Christian University.

Carolyn looks forward to sharing Prestige's portfolio with meeting planners in Kansas and Missouri. With her strong background in hotel sales and keen knowledge of her market, she is sure to be a success!
